The Tennis Elbow Brace
A tennis elbow brace is a small, adjustable band that goes around your forearm just below the elbow. It's worn to reduce pain caused by lateral epicondylitis, or better known as tennis elbow—a condition in which tendons in your elbow are strained from repetitive use. By applying gentle pressure on the muscles of the forearm, the brace inhibits straining the tendons, thereby allowing the tendons to heal.
To put one on, place the padded part of the brace about one inch below your elbow joint on the outside of your arm, then cinch up firmly but not too tight—you should still have good blood flow.
