Tips For Switching Pharmacies

  1. Planning to switch to Old Town Pharmacy? There is no need for you to do anything other than call us to let us know ! Give us your name, date of birth and the name of the drug store transferring from. We will collect all your information from your old drug store ; the list of drugs in your file, health card number, any private drug insurance information and medical cond history. We will fill in the gaps during a chat with you.

  2. Notify your doctors; it will save time and confusion later if let your doctor know about your new pharmacy; it will ensure that they send any prescriptions to the new correct pharmacy and only to the ONE (new) pharmacy. It’s always safest to fill all your prescriptions at ONE pharmacy so that your pharmacist ( just like your doctor ) can have a complete medical profile check for all possible drug interactions and alert you if there are any issues.
